The Pylontech UF5000 (often referred to as UF500) is actually a lithium-ion battery module, not an inverter. It is a 51.2V low-voltage storage module designed to be paired with a compatible 48V hybrid or off-grid inverter
Key Specifications of the UF5000
- Nominal Capacity: 5.12 kWh.
- Usable Capacity: 4.864 kWh (95% Depth of Discharge).
- Voltage: 51.2 V nominal (range of 45.6 V – 56.8 V).
- Current Rate: 1C rated, meaning it can discharge at a continuous 100A (5.12 kW).
- Cycle Life: Rated for over 6,000 cycles with a 15-year design life.
- Scalability: You can parallel up to 20 units together for a total capacity of approximately 102.4 kWh.
- Commonly Paired Inverters: It works with leading brands like Victron, Sunsynk, Deye, and GoodWe.
- Important Note: The UF5000 is not compatible for parallel connection with other Pylontech models like the UP5000, US3000C, or US2000C because it uses a 16-cell (51.2V) architecture instead of the older 15-cell (48V) architecture
